Today’s Draw Something – Drawing Of The Day is VOLCANO. There are so many things to like about this drawing. One of the first things we notice is the lateral brushstrokes to enhance the blueness of the sky. Another are the reds, oranges and yellows add a nice color palette for the lava flow and explosions. Another cool aspect is the thin skinny black, white and gray brushstrokes making the smoke seem like it is rising and jumping off the screen. From a macroscopic viewpoint, this drawing looks amazing and majestic. From a microscopic viewpoint, one could think it was busy. It’s the longview that really makes the picture pop.
